Epsilon Iota Iota (EII) participates in the nationally mandated programs of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. with an emphasis on the Greater New Haven Area.
Observed each November and is designed to recognize those individuals at the local and international levels who have contributed to community uplift. As part of achievement week, EII holds a High School Essay Contest to raise student awareness of current international and national affairs; recognizes members of the community for their outstanding works with the Citizen of the Year Award; and recognizes fraternity members for their achievements and contributions to society with the Omega Man of the Year Award.
Annually, EII provides financial assistance to college bound high school seniors based on academic achievement and need. Additionally, EII continually promotes academic excellence among the Fraternity’s undergraduate and graduate student brothers by contributing to District level financial assistance for brothers based on academic achievement. TALENT HUNT PROGRAM

Winners have been awarded recognition, given an opportunity to compete at district and international level talent hunts, and may be granted college scholarships.
On or about March 12th of each year, chapters of the Fraternity conduct appropriate services to recall the memory of those members who have entered into Omega Chapter.
RECLAMATION AND RETENTION
A concerted effort at the international, district and local levels to retain active brothers and return inactive brothers to full participatory status.
COLLEGE ENDOWMENT FUND
In furtherance of Omega’s commitment to provide philanthropic support to worthy organizations and causes, EII contributes to the Fraternity’s gift of at least $50,000 to historically black colleges and universities.
Chapters facilitate, participate and coordinate activities that promote good health practices. EII has sponsored and participated in various efforts to address health issues including; the Charles R. Drew Blood Drive, the American Diabetes Association and Susan G. Komen for the Cure Walks, and the pledge to the United Way Sickle Cell Anemia Association. This year we are proud to host our second 5K Run for Prostate Health Awareness.
VOTER REGISTRATION, EDUCATION AND MOBILIZATION
Chapters facilitate and participate in activities that uplift their communities through the power of the vote. EII partners with members of the National Pan-Hellenic Council to sponsor biannual voter registration campaigns throughout the state of Connecticut.
Every district and chapter of the Fraternity is required to maintain a Life Membership at Large in the NAACP. All members of the Fraternity are encouraged to join the NAACP.
